Bye bye Bump-Fire

Postby Nathan » Tue Oct 03, 2017 2:21 pm

I was discussing the Las Vegas shooting with friends on Facebook. From 30 seconds of phone video I saw, I concluded that he was using an AR15 with a bump-fire stock:

"Two officials familiar with the investigation into the shooting told the AP that Paddock had two "bump stocks." ... -guns.html if you wanted a bump-fire, buy now before they go away. I figured what the Hell, and ordered one while I still can. It took about fifteen tries to buy one at the original price of $179. As fast as I could click "Buy Now", it would give me a return that item was sold. I finally jumped a few pages back and was able to score one. Already I see many selling for $400+.

When I first heard the audio I also thought it was really slow for full auto M16. I figured it was either bump fire or AK.

I'd rather have a deranged lunatic shooting at me from 300 yards with a bump stock AR-15 than a blind drunk hunter with a Tasco scoped 30.06 mistaking me for a deer.

Ya, the stupid media makes a big deal of the cyclic rate while ignoring the attendant inaccuracy.
